It is important that patients with insurance coverage realize that professional services are rendered to a person, not an insurance company. Therefore, the insurance company is responsible to the patient, and the patient is responsible to Burnsville Family Physicians, P.A. If you have any questions in regards to your insurance coverage, you are advised to contact them prior to receiving service. We do not assume liability for services not covered by your insurance company.

Burnsville Family Physicians, P.A. is not a provider for MN Medicaid or General Medical Assistance


Burnsville Family Physicians, P.A. will file all primary claims to your insurance company. If you have supplemental or secondary coverage, please refer to the financial policy, or contact our business office at (952) 435-0313.  You are responsible for any amounts not paid by your insurance company.

Burnsville Family Physicians, P.A. has a very proactive collection policy for the payment of outstanding charges. Any balance more than sixty (60) days old may be placed with a professional collection agency. This action may affect your credit rating. If your account is placed with a collection agency, you and your family will be dismissed as patients from Burnsville Family Physicians, P.A. Therefore, it is imperative that you contact the business office at (952) 435-0313 immediately if you are unable to pay your bill. We will work with you to make arrangements to pay for outstanding balances, but you must stay in contact with the business office and make regular payments to avoid future collection activity.

New patients to our clinic, who have an insurance that we are not contracted with, will be required to make a "good faith" payment in the amount of $75.00, to offset the total charges of your initial visit.  Subsequent visits will be filed to your insurance company and we will bill you for any amounts outstanding.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, checks and cash.
